Children's Book Illustrator
This project involved the full illustration and book layout design for Serafina Wrote a Book, a children’s picture book created to inspire imagination and celebrate storytelling from a child’s perspective. I developed a distinctive illustration style featuring expressive characters, vibrant colour palettes, and detailed environments designed to engage young readers while supporting the narrative across every page.
Alongside the illustrations, I designed the editorial layout, carefully balancing text and imagery to ensure clarity, readability, and visual rhythm throughout the book. Each spread was composed to encourage discovery and emotional connection, creating an immersive reading experience for both children and adults.
The result is a visually rich publication that demonstrates expertise in children’s book illustration, character design, visual storytelling, and book layout, helping authors and publishers transform stories into engaging, beautifully crafted books.
