The Cave of The Cats:
This project ‘The Cave of the Cats’ involved in-depth research into Celtic mythology and Irish folklore, followed by the adaptation and rewriting of a previously unpublished myth, The Strange Adventure of Nera. With guidance from historian Daniel Curley at Rathcroghan, Tulsk- I developed the narrative for a modern audience, wrote and illustrated the book, and created a contemporary visual style that respects its Celtic roots while appealing to all ages. The illustrated world was later extended through a supporting animated piece, using atmospheric motion and layered visuals to enhance the storytelling and promote the book across digital, print, and public spaces.
